The firewall blocks some of my programs that need the internet

I’m trying to find what settings I need to change in Avast to allow specific programs to launch without having to turn off the firewall each time I need to use them

Thank you for the Information. I followed the instructions and the programs are still blocked. I went and tested each shield to see if I could pinpoint which one is keeping it from connection and the only one that affects it is the firewall. If I turn it off the programs will work, If it’s on they won’t. I will dig deeper into the settings and one by one I will test till I can pinpoint specifically which setting it is.
