The following components could not be started, "firewall"

Here’s my story:
purchased new Avast! 5 Internet Security for 3 computers. It works perfect on first install but the second has had problems installing. Contacted support, they have worked & are still working with me (awaiting email) Through their assistance I have mangaged to get the program working except for the firewall. I have tried “program add/remove” clicking “repair” and nothing so far. The “fix it” gives the message in the subject line, "The following components could not be started, “firewall”. Any suggestions???

Search for any oem*.inf files in [b]C:\Windows\inf[/b] folder that contain the text “aswNdis” and delete those files. (You can use windows search to search for text inside files)

Reinstall Avast.

Reboot.
