Yep, so I’ve got that too… really annoying when checking my e-mail
Anyway, here’s a copy of the report I e-mailed, and the SS.
I believe Avast! is having false positives with Hotmail, report attached:

What are the steps to reproduce the bug again?
Access the main Mail page (Inbox) of the msn Hotmail system, please not, NOT using the LIVE mail system.
Do any error messages appear? If yes, what exactly do they say?

There are two other topics relating to this, this is the first, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=29572.0 , did you send this to virus(at)avast.com the place to report possible false positives. Put False Positive in the email subject and a link to this topic.
There is a work around at the above link.
