The program freezes when going to scan

I select disks and i try to select scan but the program freezes. Anyone else having this happen to them?

Does “try to select scan” mean “click on the ‘Start scan’ button”?
Does the display of the Simple User Interface change anyhow at that moment?

i fixed it now i just go to the hard drive icon and click the green go button and its good to go
