Steve Gibson is good but sometimes he goes overboard almost to the point of paranoia.
The video needs Quicktime
The video needs slow time, e.g. a bog standard text web page for us suckers on dial-up.
There are many points that could be many for the rational rejection of so called security advice and cost is only one. To be able to make that rational judgement, you have to have some idea about security in the first place. So who is this targeted at, surely not Mr average computer user.
There are also some people though who haven’t got a clue about security that they have to follow advice almost blindly and that too is dangerous.
VLC will play the video, or for us Win7 users, The video can be played in WMP (If you download the file).
