I set the Script Blocker in “High”, but when I reboot the pc, it would change to “Normal”, why?
I set the IE cache in “Ramdisk”, I try to set it in HDD, is no any different, Script Blocker still change.
Do you mean the script blocker?
yes
Maybe someone like Tech or Davidr might know a solution
No. I don’t know any answer that would help here.
When you set the script blocker to the “High”, reboot the pc, the script blocker shoud change to “Normal”?
What is the difference between “Normal” and “High” ?
Nothing, like the case in network, p2p and im shields.
Btw, you can make it seem “Custom” if you want because it won’t change after reboot.
I try it before I ask. It won’t change after reboot.
But I want to konw why it would change.
Is my pc software problem? Avast problem? Or is no problem? ???
It’s the same on every avast! user’s PC. So that’s not a problem of your PC. We shouldn’t call it an avast! problem either as normal and high levels doesn’t bring any different protection levels (for script blocker, network, p2p and im shields as i said in my previous post). I don’t know the reason why script blocker level acts so, but there’s no problem.
