Hi,
I have purchased license to renew and got license.dat then loaded it.
AMS login console says;
The server certificate does not seem to be valid, it has either invalid signature or expired.
I renewed license because of this and loaded new license but still the same. Does this have something to do with “Local SSL Certificate…” menu in AMS?
Please advise.

The server certificate is not related to the license.
You can generate yourself a new (self-signed) certificate by the AMS Maintenance Tool when the old one expires.

Perhaps the programmers could add this information to the the error message? With a 3-year expiration cycle on the self-issued certificate, I had completely forgotten that it even existed!

I am having the same problem. I generated a new certificate, but still getting the same error when trying to log in. Anyone else having this problem?

@ spoonbow: it is in the error message
The server certificate does not seem to be valid, it has either invalid signature or expired.
@jester805 : my first impression is that the console still uses the old certificate, try to delete it
I am having this problem right now. Can anyone please help?
I have tried deleting the old certificate, and created a new one. It still won’t work. I have Windows 2008 Server 64 bit.
Please give some guidance.

I’m having the same issues. I also created a new certificate and I still cannot access the console.
After you recreate the certificate, just restart the avast management server service.
I know it works because I just had to do it about an hour ago.
