Hi,
I hope somebody can help me. When I start my computer I can see Avast in my taskbar but it takes a long time ( 80 sec) before Avast is active and the red sign is gone??
What can I do about this?

Terra, it’s normal that, on boot, avast! takes some time to scan the startup items (programs that starts, etc.).
You can solve removing some programs at startup (the ones you don’t need imediatly after boot) or adding some exclusions to avast!
Or searching the board for Startup Delayer (and/or NetRun) that could manage startup items.

There are only two programs at startup. Avast and my firewall!!
It still depends on your computer’s hardware and that firewall you did not mention.
