I seriously think that won’t work, as soon as people will have reached maximum access times allowed for free, they’ll go browse somewhere else ;D There are other solutions, like paid access on some sections.

Starting in early 2011, visitors to NYTimes.com will get a certain number of articles free every month before being asked to pay a flat fee for unlimited access.
... wonder how they're going to deal with this, considering most people on broadband in the EU have dynamic IPs :D and relying on cookies...could work with a majority of people not cleaning their browsers' files regularly ::)

yes… and the funny thing is that the Murdoch group belongs to a group of people who protested against the French government that now wants to tax Google for their un-allowed inserted adds in news ;D
