This is making me NUTS!
I have turned off all shields as I’ve had to do before when updating my auto scan tool. This time “internet Security” pops up this message and I can’t continue. I know what I’m doing, don’t have “Internet Security” and this is making me angry now.
I need this to go away. Thanks in advance for any help…

Why are you disabling the shields? ???
The shields need to be disabled in order to download the updates for the scan tool. (i figured this out with the scan tool people) they say it happens all the time.
When I go to the site to download the updates Avast pops up with the message in the header and I can’t continue (this never happened before yesterday).
The site is mycar.x431.com It’s Chinese - the manufacturer of the scan tool. Not the main page, but one in when going to download updates.
