In the past I reported about how avast! couldn’t remove a trojan from my nephew’s computer, but MSE did.
This time MSE couldn’t remove a trojan from his computer, but avast! removed it. ;D ;D ;D
Even mbam couldn’t do it.

I know! avast! is by far one of the best antiviruses I’ve ever managed to come across! It removed a PUP from my computer I didn’t even know about until it was too late. Thank you avast!
Do you know what PUP is ?
PUP = not a virus - PUP (potentially unwanted program)…a program that can be used for good or bad…Commercial Keyloggers for example

That’s fine until he gets infected again, and you want to try another AV…
I find it interesting how quickly people switch av when things like this happen.
Maybe this would be a good time to try and educate them about what they are doing wrong to end up this way. (rather than switching the av, because it removed this particular one)
And yeah…mbam, Really?
