I use Avast Premier and am wondering about the thousands of mbdtXXXX.scr files that I find in my temp folder after a reboot. Are these files being created by Avast or is something else going on?
I have run the Microsoft malicious software and safety check tools and they found nothing negative going on.
I have a similar problem, and am sorry that I cannot [yet] suggest an answer. This is clearly an infection. This mass of files is being downloaded: probably your ISP will by now have told you that you are over your monthly limit. I too have run checks that have found nothing. Advice from the forum would be very welcome.
