Threat blocked - occurring over and over

Hi there, I hope I am posting to the right forum. I started getting a Threat Blocked - Win32:malware-gen over a month ago. It tells me to run Smart Scan. It doesn’t find anything. So several times a day this happens.

I googled around and found some fixes but they tell you to install other programs which will detect stuff but then they have you buy the program to remove it.

Is there anything I can do? This is driving me crazy!
