Threat detected (http://reduled.info...etc)

Hi
I’m running Avast Premier 2015 and each time I boot my Win 7 64bit machine I get warns about a “threat detection” event when SVCHOST.exe attempted to connect with :-
http://reduled.info/3131/LighterModule_142240680818197.dll
A full system scan does not remove the threat.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the redirect to the FAQ (I should have known better) !

I can confirm that Malwarebytes did indeed clean up the reduled.info threat at the first attempt.

It does beg the question though - why couldn’t Avast Premier?

Regardless - I’m back to being a happy PC user.

Rather depends on what MBAM is calling the detection ?

Personally I wouldn’t stop the hunt there and continue with the investigation at https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 as previously suggested.

it is not a FAQ .... if you want help from a malware expert, he need those logs to create a fix for you
