Here you go. I’ll check back later. Thanks
Could you run combofix from safe mode please
OK Avast would not disable even though it said it was, combofix said it will run anyways and here’s the log. And I’m still getting the warnings on firefox
OK that has confirmed that there is an addon/extension in firefox that I am not seeing/recognising
Could you start Firefox in safe mode please and let me know if the alerts cease http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
If they do then enable each addon one at a time until the alerts return. Then disable that one and let me know what it was
I only had 4 add ons: mozilla browser, avast, yahoo tool bar and a coupon bar my daughter used. Amazingly just disabling one or the other tool bar didn’t stop it but I’ve removed both and for now it seems to be ok. The coupon toolbar though was only installed on the computer. It was enabled so that leads me to believe it was the yahoo toolbar. What do you think and what else do I need to do? I’ve always used the yahoo because it has all my bookmarks in it. Do you think I’ll be safe to reinstall it?
OK, I just came back to my computer, I hadn’t been on it since my last post and Malwarebytes had a pop up saying that it has blocked a malicious threat or something like that. I’ve seen them pop up occasionally thru out this but not with regularity like the other and I can’t copy and paste the message and there’s no log of it. Scans don’t produce anything either.
I’ve also started getting this message lately when I restart or switch users then switch back to me: C:Users\AppData\Roaming\wlmder.dll. It says it could not be found?
I will remove the remainder of the coupons so you should be able to use Yahoo quite happily I will also remove the run key for the dll
Could you make a note of the MBAM ip adresses please
Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems
Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

I haven’t seen an MBAM warning yet. I’ll try to write it down next time I see one.
I just checked my avast log and a quick scan yesterday while I was gone found a virus: Win32:Agent-APWZ. I moved it to Chest. Is that the right thing to do?
What was the location of the file ? Was it either qoobox or OTL_Moved files ?
I’m sorry I didn’t see it. I haven’t had any warnings or messages in 2 days though so do you think we’re good?
Subject to no further problems
I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems
Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

Thanks for everything! One last question. The avast always has a message that says some files cold not be scanned, password protected. Is there a way to bypass this so everything can be scanned or is it something I shouldn’t worry about? I’m not sure how to change the settings on what ever is password protected.
That is nothing to worry about as password protected files can do nothing till they are opened, when Avast will then scan them
