Late yesterday evening I tried to send an email to my daughter but when I tried to send it I couldn’t because all I saw was minimize. I also saw minimize on my desktop so before going to bed I started a full system scan. When I got up this morning and looked at the results of the scan it showed threat detected. I moved it to the virus chest and Avast recommended a boot time scan which I did. No viruses were found. I then run another full system scan, no viruses were found.

I got the AccuWeather app from the windows store the same day I hooked this new computer up on October 29.

It wouldn’t find anything on subsequent scans, the previous scan moved it to the chest. Here it is in a protected area, the file is encrypted and renamed.

So my question to you what is it that you are asking ?
If this is a legit detection, then it has been taken care of.

There is no way to tell without further investigation, e.g. extracting the file from the chest and uploading to VT for scanning.

But given the malware name JS:Iframe-ESN[Trj] it would appear to be a javascript iFrame script, which does seem legit.
