My PC: Win8 w Avast 8.0.1489 + Comodo Firewall
Avast states this threat, “Threat:EraseC [Trj]”, was present in a torrent file “The Daily Show 2013 06 27 Tom Goldstein HDTV x264-FQM [eztv].bc!”.
It will not delete or move to chest. Freezes my torrent client. Had to force terminate Torrent client from CIS Killswitch b/c it froze Task manager.
But I was able to download the exact same file from my friends PC with Avast 8.0.1489 + Comodo Firewall without a problem. I ended up having to uninstall Avast + Comodo + BitComet with revo uninstaller to get rid of all traces of these programs and reinstall everything again. I ran MBAM, Tdsskiller, Emisoft Anti-malware, AswMbr and Hitman Pro with none of them finding anything. The same happens again! Not sure what to do from here. I’m unable to submit file to Virus Total or attach it as it states the file is too large (450mb)…

we need the logs from adwclener .mbam, otl and aswmbr.
