For the last few days, the daily scan has completed with a THREAD DETECTED! message, as shown in scan1. When I click on the “Show results” button, nothing happens. (The button changes color when I mouse over it, but that’s all.)
When I pull up the scan log, as shown in scan2, it says “no virus found”. The Virus Chest is empty.
So what’s going on? If a threat was found, how do I find out about it? And if nothing was found, why do I get the “threat detected” message?

What if you run a scan manually (instead of scheduled) - does it make any difference?
You can also try to enable the creation of a report file for the particular scan - and check what’s inside.

I ran a manual scan but it said no thread found. I’ll see what happens with the automatic scan tonight.

I have had the exact same problem as the OP describes ever since I started my free trial a coupe of weeks ago. I run a scan every evening and it comes up with this ‘error’ about every third time.
I don’t think it has actually detected anything real, just crap coding.
Not sure I will be paying up when my free trial ends, as Safe Zone (my main reason for buying) is also pretty flaky.

count me in…
i have 2 pcs, one with xp sp3 and one with windows 7 64bit, both are clean and it says threat found only since the last version update.
nothing in virus chest, no reports, scan log says no threat found.
performing a quick/full scan gives a “no threat found”.
bug.
