Threat Has Been Detected Message.

I keep getting the threat has been detected message. When I turn my Windows 8 laptop on before I even sign in, the audio message plays. The message reads:

avast! Web Shield has blocked a harmful webpage or file.
Object:http:/…/remote_configuration.aspx?cid={0
Infection: URL:Mal
Process: C:\Program Files(x86).…\vprot.exe

when I hover my mouse over the individual lines it does show more info, but I cannot type it down, it goes away when I move my mouse. I click on more details, but get more of the same, with the option to upgrade my avast! protection. The message keeps coming back and I want to know how to remove / stop the cause.

we need Malwarebytes / OTL / aswMBR logs

i think this file belongs to AVG security toolbar ....anyway the log will tell the malware experts if this is a FP

This was a threat alert because another program tried to change your search settings.
As Pondus says, produce the logs indeed to establish what it was all about and a qualified removal expert can have a look. then.
