Cannot delete a high Severity file.
c:\found.006\dir0001.chk\localized_PT-BR.respack:WofCompressedData
What do I do?
Attach your basic diagnostic logs. (MBAM, FRST and aswMBR)
Instructions: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253
That is a disc check fragment and can be deleted
Malware log
Farbar log 1and 2
aswMBR file
If I was you I would be careful if you run any temp file cleaners as your main account is named temp
Running from C:\Users\TEMP.MOMS-HP.001\Desktop
CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer
Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:
CreateRestorePoint: c:\found.006 CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers
Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
Great catch… how do I change the main account - this is my wife’s computer
Create a new administrator account, transfer the files across then delete the original http://www.thewindowsclub.com/share-transfer-files-between-user-accounts-windows
Was the fix you gave me supposed to fix my problem? It has not. The computer resets and the desktop is not the same. There is only one user on the compute and it is Sheri. In Win explorer there are no documents of pictures at the top of the window. If I drill down to Users/sheri they are there. I am running another full virus scan now. It will take a while.
All I did was remove the chkdsk fragment, I specifically did not empty your temp files because of the user name
You can use the restore point that FRST made however, nothing I touched would have caused this
