I keep getting Avast alert on my screen “Win32:adan-025[adw]; adware; VPS version 0552-4, 12-31-2005”. I delete it and report it to Avast many times in last 3 weeks. What is it? How do I keep it from coming back?? ;D

Run a boot time scan with avast!. (Start avast! anti-virus, right click on the GUI, select Schedule a boot time scan.)
Run scans with the following programs:
Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/
a-Squared http://www.emsisoft.com/en/
Ad-Aware http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html
Spybot Search & Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/
The first two are anti-Trojan programs, the second anti-Spyware programs. They can clear out registry entries that can prevent AV’s from deleting malware.
