This error will close but always come back.
I’m also having the same problem with my computer. Yesterday I downloaded some apk files on the apk downloader pages like apknite or something to the computer. This morning, when I turned on the computer, I had a similar error. Does avast have errors with apk files?
@Demitasse & SanguineSage,
avast’s might have flagged this exclusively in PUP mode, seen the latest detection by another vendor,
that was on 22-06-2019 last, this for
PUP.HighConfidence in the case of -tvolink.com.apk on Android.
See where I came across this info: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/930cbf016ba257ec4000b1665997ac890d0ca9adae99f53122e843d5eaececaf/detection
while arriving there from looking at relations here:
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/domain/tvol.ink/relations
When it is just the one engine, Babale, detecting, there seems room for it being a FP,
just wait for a final verdict as what this is. Babale PUP and avast PUP detection equalling in high confidence status?
PUP.High Confidence just simply means that your av solution has HIGH CONFIDENCE this is a PUP,
however the source code may be totally fine.
With PUP detections, if you know what it is and you knowingly downloaded it to your device,
there should not be a problem. You could work an exclusion for such a file.
However you could also upload here and have it analyzed: https://apkscan.nviso.be/report/show/a42cf00ddc4bbdd9ec2b90f34f35929e
or wait for an answer from one of the avast team members.

Has been an earlier topic on avast’s blog:
https://blog.avast.com/2012/11/20/android-pup-detections-oh-not-that-one-again/
An earlier interesting read on that very problem:
https://brica.de/alerts/alert/public/1213196/re-emergence-of-a-fake-android-av-androids-antivirus-pupriskwarearmor/
So this has been with us from 2012/2013 henceon.
There is nothing new under that digital sun, is there?
