Threat Secured

I use the free version, and I get lots of emails with internal threats. Avast dutifully intercepts them and pops up the Threat Secured message. While a lot of messages are being secured I cannot do anything on the machine. Would a paid subscription make Avast not tie up all operations while it does its work?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member and I use Avast Free Antivirus.

I honestly don’t believe so I rarely if ever get any alerts on any emails, but I don’t get that many emails - I also use a program MailWasher Pro (which is free) to download my email and it pre-filters spams, etc. and I flag others for deletion, before I launch my email client Thunderbird.

There isn’t much detail in your post about these emails, I can only assume that there are links in the email pointing at suspect links ?

Are these flagged emails from the same source ?

Thanks for the response. I’ve never seen a link to inspect the emails, so I know nothing about their sources. I get plenty of stuff in my Spam box, whose senders I visually scan before I delete, but nothing near the quantity that Avast announces.
