Threats from hotmail

Hi,

I’ve just tried twice to open hotmail via msn (which is direct) and i’ve had harmful site warning threats detected. The connection was blocked apparently so I don’t think there’s any problem with being infected but if hotmail (which is/was microsoft… might have sold for all i know) do we actually stand a chance against viruses? lol

It’s just weird that i’m getting these from hotmail which has never happened and it was fine earlier today when I went on it, only thing that has since then has my ABP (ad-block plus) was updated. Is/has anyone else had any problems? I think it should be a great concern given how many people actually use hotmail everyday.

Could you update Avast please as there was a False positive on this

Oh yeah, I saw a topic about it below, about the same warning.

Glad that’s all it was lol cos for hotmail that would have been bad.
