Three PC Limit On One License - Uninstalling Computer A Installing Computer D

I currently have one license for AIS which allows me to install it on 3 PCs.

I currently have AIS 5.X installed on three PCs

One of those PCs I will be retiring and and replacing with a new PC.

I have downloaded the Avast uninstall utility to uninstall AIS on the computer that I am retiring.

I can upload the License file into the AIS program from its saved location on one of my other computers since they will all be networked.

Previously when I purchased the 3 PC license for AIS I was running the Avast AV free which I had downloaded and was using before I upgraded to AIS. As I recall the upgrade prompted me for a license number so I just uploaded the license file into the program on all three computers.

So my questions are

  1. Do I have to be online to use the uninstall utility in order to uninstall AIS from the computer that I am retiring?

  2. After I have uninstalled one copy of AIS from the computer do I just download the AIS trial version and then load the license file to make it a valid licensed copy of AIS?
