Thunderbird blocked

Latest version of Avast appears to block access to email servers in Thunderbird.

If I turn off mail shield I can access my emails through Thunderbird but with it on I get “connection was refused”.

Avast free v 18.6.2349 (build 18.6.3983.0)
Def 180904-2

strange I have thunderbird and my emails are all working, there all imap emails though Gmail,aim,Outlook

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Could you please help us to narrow the problem down?
When the issue appears, could you please generate a support package and post the file ID here? Guide: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Submit-support-file (This works best when you turn ON debug logging first in Settings > General > Maintenance, reproduce the issue and then generate the support package.)

Problem solved.
It was not Avast causing the problem but my firewall.
