I have had some problems with pdf-attachments of outgoing mails from “Thunderbird”. The recipients couldn’t open it. It seems to be a problem with the AVAST! scan of outgoing mails. Since I deactivated this scan, the problem was solved. May be the following link is helpful:
avast should only scan, without messing the pdf file. I’ve sent pdf files very often by email and they’re being scanned by avast. Both XP and Vista. Although, I’m using OE and Windows Mail.
What do you mean by ‘destroyed’?
Sorry, I can’t help further.
Destroyed means: error message Adobe Reader 8.1.1.: “Beim Öffnen dieses Dokuments ist eine Fehler aufgetreten. Diese Datei ist beschädigt und kann nicht repariert werden.”
