My profile list of things I can do in the forum does not match the help exclamation ???
Also, ticking ‘don’t show e-mail address’ still shows it - at least to me. Better not give me grief with spam >:(
How do you get a avatar up, or even a signature ??? ???

To prevent forum spam, you need to have made at least 20 posts before
you can make changes to your user settings.
The email address is only visible to you.
Every one else sees “hidden”
You can see it but no one else can.
Another offer of reassurance. This is what I see when looking at your profile. “hidden” is clear.
