After posting a question a few minutes ago, I was surprised that the time of posting (9.40am) came up an hour ahead of what the time was here (8.40am). Since I always imagined that this site was US based, I expected a time of at least 5 hours behind the time here. So which country is an hour ahead of the UK apart from the obvious one of France?
The forum time zone is CET.
And avast (guess the forum server also) is located in Prague, Czech Republic
Forum time can be adjusted under Profile > Modify Profile > Look and Layout
Many European countries are 1 hour ahead of the UK at the moment.
All that are using summer-time.

Thanks guys, now I know!
If you go to your profile timezone-setting as kindly provided by Pondus, you’ll also see there’s an option for auto-detect, which not only detects your correct local time zone but also whether you’re on Daylight/Summer time, and adjusts your profile accordingly.
Only one catch – that latter setting “sticks”, so if you’re in the US or Canada, you’ll have to do that 4 times a year (twice in the spring and again in the fall) because of the different dates used for the transition here and there. Good old Windows, which handles all that automatically including the dates depending on your locality.
