Tiny AV I can use with Avast? to double check problems. More questions also.

I know its never a good thing to run to anti virus’s together. I currently run Malwarebyte and Avast! along with CCleaner (CCleaner is not always an active process nor is Malwarebyte) Recently with Avast! after doing a scan (I did like 4 scans this day dont ask why) the last full 100% deep scan i set up gave me this :

I was told that because my system may have been downloading/installing a windows update I got these as false positives. I don’t know for sure if it was installing during but its possible. When i went to shut down my computer the shut down button had the ! next to it indicating when it shuts down it will install updates, then as it proceeded to shut down did a small windows update. The person who told me on this forum that it was more than likely a false positive made me feel better about the protection on my computer as I use it mostly for gaming and never install or go to weird websites I am unsure of. I also have windows firewall up if that makes a difference.

I was curious if anybody knew of a good RELIABLE, no bloatware, small extra anti virus I can run only when needed to double secure and make sure my computer is okay.

In avast! under scanlogs I see this

The one with the 5 threats is the one that detected the threat. Its still there though when I click on it it brings up the first screen shot I posted, does this mean its still a problem if it is at all? I worry a lot about this stuff so sorry if I seem neurotic about it im just very curious. My machine runs fine so I don’t see evidence of a problem, but it still hangs over my head that my pc may be infected, and eventually get even worse.

Feedback and if there are any good secondary pc checkups out there is much appericated!

Malwarebytes ;)

or upload and test suspicious files here www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org

Similar scan results have been posted here many times…and trust essexboy, he work with this evry day

Awesome thanks for the quick reply. All seems well, i tend to worry about these things a little to much.

More likely a F/P

http://www.file.net/process/wermgr.exe.html
http://systemexplorer.net/file-database/file/wermgr-exe

yet you can send files to be scanned for 40+ analyzers to Virus Total: https://www.virustotal.com/en/ ( As Pondus advised above )

Besides Malwarebytes that you already have, there are other AV online that you can use.

http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan

However if you really want to be sure there is nothing better than to post your logs in the Viruses and Worms forum and let one of our specialist to take a look at them.
