Tiny windows / Some fixed that way

I have a 23" monitor. Could there be an option where Avast uses the full screen, and not these tiny windows?
Are the tiny windows so that you can use Avast on a small screen, and it was determined that this would work fine on a larger screen?

Avast would be easier to work with, if you can see everything on the screen, all at once.
Would it be like having two skins? One for small screens, one for large screens?

IMO, using your AV program can be like opening Word or Excel. It can use the whole screen.
It seems like all of the AV programs use tiny windows - AVG / Malwarebytes / Spyware Blaster / Iobit Malware Fighter / Hitman Pro / HiJack This
If some like the tiny windows, make a setting for this as an option.

Show a table for the different scans available, that have similar settings, so you can change them all at once on one screen:
. . . Virus-PUP-Suspicious . . . 1st Fix auto / 2nd Move to Chest . . . for Quick, Full, Removable, Folder

Personally I feel all windows should be resizeable - I don’t really have an issue with small windows on this system.

However, on my 10.1" win7 netbook 1024 X 600 I do have problem with fixed sized avast windows that exceed the resolution of the screen. I end up having to employ a screen resolution registry hack to make windows think I have a larger screen resolution. People shouldn’t have to do this.
