I bought a license for avast internet security, which should be valid

Available for: 3 devices
Subscription status: Expiring
Expires on: January 6, 2020 (284 days remaining)

Whenever I try to apply the activation number or use a license file to active the software,
it always complain, “Oops, something is wrong”
Does someone know what is really wrong?
