My name is Sina and I am from Iran and work as an IT consultant for past 15 years.
As a loyal user and a true supporter of Avast products for past 10 years I was shocked by the action of Avast company in blocking Iranian Users and the fact that how easy loyalty and trust is answered with betrayal.I am sorry to tell you that It takes years to trust someone or something but it only takes minute to drop it.You action of blocking your users in Iran (For whatever reason it is) was an absolute shame for your fame and trustworthiness.I am sorry to tell you that starting from yesterday and after a long discussion we have started to uninstall your fantastic antivirus from our workstations and we stopped deploying new installation of avast to our users.We have also issued a bulletin to all our subsidiaries all around Iran, Syria and Qatar forbidding them from new installation of all avast products.
Thanks for protecting us for ten years

the block should be shortly taken out…its not just avast…there may be more security companies doing it…its not avast fault anyways…cozz its like cyber megablock

You should be aware of the fact that this is not the action of Avast but that Avast is forced to comply with regulations that govern their business.
Really ? What is wrong with you ? If English is my second language and you said " The block should be shortly taken out ", it sounded like it will not last long and the ban will be withdrawed and if you really asking if another AV is blocking those countries. Yes AVG is also doing it. Now if you are being sarcastic, I do not have to answer or follow any of your advice since you are incapable of grasping the seriouness on the situation.
I believe that the Google Search works as well in your part of the world as it does here.
You would look a lot smarter if every once in a while you use it before you open your mouth or make a post here or in any other forum.
