tojan vundo virus

Have XP running Nortons 2005. It found the Trojan Vundo virus. Downloaded the removal tool from Symantec…didn’t work. Still there. Downloaded Avast, didn’t find it, did find others…
The Norton’s expires October 25, 2005, dont’ intend to renew it…Not a happy Norton’s camper…
Help…

  2. Remove Avast
  3. Reboot
  4. Install Avast

have a removal tool. But it requires you to enter some filename details.

You could post there and ask for advice.
