Most of us use SD blocking software. This app tries too hard to sell upgrades and shoves way too many ads at us.

Stop it or get deleted.

As they say, you get what you pay for.

You can disable the ads in the paid version.

My theory, it would appear that in the early days of using avast free you get more promotions/ads/info toaster popups.

I would say that if I get one a day that is possibly on the high side of what I notice. Since I use avast free on three systems I may be seeing more, it is entirely possible if I use all the systems (normally only two) I might get three toaster popups.

As mentioned you can move to a paid version or you can select the silent/gaming mode. There is however a downside to that in that you don’t get the avast alert or other interactive windows.
