うまく行かないとは、どういった状態でしょうか。
Eddy さんの書かれている通り、バージョン7のプログラム本体のサポートは終了していますが、ウイルス定義ファイルは引き続きアップデート可能なはずです。
ただ、古いバージョン向けの定義ファイルは稀に更新が遅れる場合があるので、今回もそういうケースかもしれません。
ちなみに、ストリーミングアップデートは機能しているでしょうか。
