TopSecret.Chat - False positive in Google Play store (?)

Hi,
we appreciate if we could receive some support in relation to a potential false-positive that is affecting our App.

Avast is reporting a Malware in our TopSecret Chat application available for download in the Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=topsecret.chat

The same is happening when installing the signed APK, avaialble for direct download from our servers: https://topsecret.chat/apk/topsecret.chat.150.apk
The SHA256 File Checksum is avaialble in the ofifcial website: https://topsecret.chat/en/platforms/

Please note the issue started only a few days ago, in proximity of the similar issue about the Google App false-positive.

We submitted the application package to Avast using the official online submission form, under the name of our legal organisation (Bona Fide NGO) and a note in LinkedIn quoting the @Avast account was posted, but no feedback has been received yet.

While Avast is reporting this issue, our package has been verified as clean by both Google Play Protect and Microsoft Defender.

Based on our findings, Avast seems reporting a false-positive.
If on the contrary Avast has identified a real issue, then we really appreciate to be contacted with more details in order to resolve the problem, to protect our users and safeguard our reputation.

Thank you

Thanks, we did that indeed, but unfortunatelly we got no feedback at all, that’s the reason we thought of raising the issue in the forum too.

We can try again, perhaps submitting also the AAB file, on top of the APK.

Thanks
