Hello there,
I would like to know if MBR malware like Mebroot/Torpig etc. can infect a MBR which has a dual boot (one for Windows and one for Linux for example) ?
Also, if it can, will ASWMBR be able to restore the dual boot system ?
Thank you very much, it is very important for me.

he is usually in here at 08:00pm - 11:59pm UK time
The answer is yes the infection will be detected but, it will replace the MBR with a standard version so the dual boot will no longer function as such. Grub will need to be reset I am afraid

Thank you.
So, if I got it right, if Torpig infects a machine with a dual-boot, it kills the dual boot ?
Yes as the MBR is replaced with a standard windows version
