Traffic redirected to AvastSvc.exe

Hi!
I’d like to ask you something about AvastSvc.exe process…

As you can see, I’m downloading a game (but the same things happens for downloads, streaming etc).
The download speed of the download is highlighted in A and the process is FirefallInstaller.exe.
If you look in the background, i have a network analyzer program, and you can notice that the download speed of FirefallInstaller.exe (C) is 0kbps while AvastSvc.exe(B) has over 800kbps.

It looks like the traffic is being redirected through Avast software…
Now I need to limit the download speed of some programs but I actually can’t since I should limit Avast process instead…is there a way to fix this and make traffic not to be redirected trough Avast?

Redirecting the traffic through avast! service (and scanning that traffic) is the way Web Shield (and also Mail Shield) work…

so i guess there’s no way to limit every single process right?

Well it is possible not to have have programs not be redirected through the Web Shield proxy.

avastUI > Antivirus > Web Shield > Settings > Exclusions - Processes to exclude:

There is a down side to that, that traffic doesn’t get scanned, so you leave your system more vulnerable in order to restrict the processes download speed.
