Tranfer Avast Internet Security Account

I dropped my laptop and the hard drive is toast :cry:

I was wondering if my Avast Internet Security account can be transferred/used on a new hard drive that I am getting to replace the original.

The backup data on an external hard drive, but due to the fact there will be a new/different hard drive, will Avast look as though it is a new computer when I reload all of the data from the external hard drive. I plan to reload the Avast program.

I have just under a year left on my account.

Yes, you can transfer the license to the new computer.

I hope you saved the license file somewhere safe.
