Transfer Avast License to New Computer

I currently have Windows 7 on PC and will continue to use after Microsoft support ends. I will be upgrading to Avast Premium Security for more pro-active protection, with antivirus and firewall all in one. I will ‘eventually’ purchase a new computer with newer Microsoft operating system. Will I be able to transfer my Avast subscription to the new computer?

Short answer, Yes.

If you remove avast from or dispose of the old system.
If you have retained copy of your license or you can reassign it from your my.avast.com account.
Or download it again using the Resend avast License https://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php, you will need to enter the email that you used when purchasing the license, e.g. the one that the original email with the link was sent.
