Hello Avast team,
I am currently using the classic Avast Free Antivirus interface on PC (not Avast One), and I have noticed that Avast One is now being promoted as the main product across your website.
On mobile, I also previously had Avast One installed, but I noticed that it is no longer available on the Google Play Store in its older form. Instead, only the new Avast One version is shown, which appears to have replaced Avast Mobile Security entirely.
This makes me wonder how the transition is handled for existing users on both platforms.
My questions are:
-
For PC users still on the classic Avast Free Antivirus interface, will the migration to Avast One be automatic via updates, or will a manual uninstall/reinstall be required?
-
For mobile users who already had Avast One or Avast Mobile Security installed from older versions, what will happen now that the old apps are no longer available on the Play Store?
-
Is there an official timeline or policy regarding the end of support for the classic PC interface and older mobile versions?
I am mainly trying to understand whether users need to take action now or if everything will be handled automatically in the background.
Thank you in advance for your clarification.
