tray icons have suddenly disappeared from the system tray tool

Dear support forum,

the 2 tray icons have suddenly disappeared from the system tray tool. The problem with avast tray icons disappearing from the system tray, perhaps it’s windows malfunction , due to system errors or some registry files which are missing after some registry repair. I generally use ccleaner and RegSupreme to repair my registry dust and the trash after some unistallation.I have already installed and uninstalled a lot of softwares (like av scanners) and It’s possible my system is sick.Do you think I should reformat my pc again or there is way to solve up this troublesome error. I’d appreciate if someone could find a solution out or point out a link with a help. Best Regards.

  1. Check the option in the Appearance tab of settings.
    or
  2. Repair your avast installation through Control Panel.
    or
  3. Make a link to ashdisp.exe in your startup folder
    or
  4. Add the path to ashDisp.exe into a value named avast! in the Windows Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

If that does not help, please, uninstall, boot, install again, boot.

What other security based software do you have that might block new startup entries, e.g. Spybot S&D (TeaTimer), AdAware (AdWatch), SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor (StartUpGuard), PrevX, WinPatrol, ProcessGuard, etc.?
