Does Avast already have protection for or a fix for Troj/Ransom-A ? I don’t have it but want to keep it that way.
Hi HappyComfort,
I hope it has, the last of this ransom trojan encryption password was “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98” (between "‘’)
Very clever of the malware artist, because analysts may think this was a system path, and not the actual password of the encrypted files. Hope they found the password here as well. This clever password was detected by the analysts of Sophos AV.
