I just got infected by a Trojan.Agent virus which came through msn via the little adverts at the bottom, as I got infected java opened (it’s always Java >:() and i kept getting asked to allow permission for adobe flash to run, over and over again which is when Avast kept saying it had blocked Malware.Dropper (or something along the lines of that) even tho it said connection was blocked before harm was done, am I safe from it?
The Trojan.Agent was picked up via Malwarebyte’s. I’ve only done quick scans but it picked up 2 objects yet only showed one unless it counted as 2 because it said ‘file’ and ‘memory process’
I don’t know much when it comes to viruses but as I do alot of stuff when it comes to paypal I do like to know i’m uber safe after getting infected and are fully clean and secure (i probably sound like a prat) :-\
Not that i’ve noticed but isn’t that what viruses are meant to do? ie not get noticed?
I havn’t done a scan with avast just yet but do plan on doing it at some point today (really busy).
What exactly is a Trojan.Agent? Whats it’s purpose? I’ve heard and read totally different things such as spreading to other computers that uses your internet connection to stealing personal data (banking, addresses etc) not no actual clear cut answer.
Don’t want to think I got infected by this and it opened up a backdoor for hackers to access my computer (another thing what a Trojan.Agent is said to do)

Oh, well I removed Trojan.Agent with malwarebytes. Just got a threat detection on a forum a visit several times a day, malwarebytes didn’t pick up on it but Avast did
I know it has nothing to do with this but don’t see the point in making a new topic for it, false positive? In the interface under Network Shield it says 7021 / 3 but the 3 infected aren’t showing up in the report file :-\
