Hello, i’m new here, so please have patience with me.
I have both Avast-Pro & Malwarebytes-Pro versions installed and my Malwarebytes detected this:
C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\sfzone\avutil-51.dll (Trojan.Fakesig)
I quarantined the file and Malwarebytes keeps detecting after removal, so i just left it quarantined. Can anybody help please? Thank you.
There is at least one other topic about this.
The detection has been reported as a false positive in the MBAM forum.
The avast self-defence module should be protecting this file.

It is a false/positive that MBAM is working on it.
