I’ve got 4 viruses on my pc that avast!4 home cannot erase. One of them is really serious: win32:Trojan-gen. {Delphi} ??? Please, Help me! Thanks
Hi,
Have you tried running a boot time scan and then removing them? If you do not know how to do this you may search the forum or just respond here and I will post more detailed instructions.
In order to help fully we need more information…
- What OS are you using? is it up to date?
- What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
- What was the filename, where was it found
example (C:\windows\system32\infected-filename.xxx)?
Files in use or in the windows systems folders are protected by windows and as such can’t be moved or deleted.
If you are using XP, win2k or winNT you can do a boot-time scan as mentioned by Staind, otherwise boot into safe mode and run an avast scan from safe mode.
Welcome to the forums, dasita!

If you do not know how to do a boot scan as suggested, please post again. Also, give us more info as suggested above so that we can better help you solve your problem.
