I have just done a scan of my computer and it tells me I have Trojan.Generic.1081083, but Avast says my system is fine. Can anyone help with this. Is there a way to get rid of it.

so what is it, does it say infected or not?..or did you scan with another program, if so what?
do you have more then one antivirus installed?
what file was detected?
where was the file located … full file path?
