When I logged onto my email this morning (webmail.juno.com) an Avast pop-up informed me “Trojan Horse Blocked” and “connection aborted.” It indicated HTML:redirME-inf[trj] as the problem. At the bottom was a link that said “visit the Avast community info portal for more information,” and when I did, I simply received an offer to upgrade to the paid version. Meanwhile, I am unable to access my email.
Does anyone have an idea, other than disabling Avast, how I can do so?
Except that it appears that the problem is not with Juno, but avast. I have been a Juno client for years, and this morning both of my avast-protected computers at home gave me the same login error that has been reported here. I am able to log in from work with my school’s computer system with no problems.
The latest avast virus definitions update resolves the problem, just ensure that you have it. The update should have happened automatically unless you changed the update default settings.
