Hi I’ve been using the above software for ages, but suddenly I get the message that it’s been blocked because of an infection. I have no idea how to tell whether it’s a false positive. Can anybody check? What can I do?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
cheers, Erik
Welcome to my world…
I feel it is a BAD VPS push from Avast. All my systems where in chaos when I walked in and I have been fighting all day since 8am to get them running. (I run 100 hosts +/- and a good amount of servers) It was effecting a few different programs in my environment. Once I would work out(stop blocking/notifying) for one program…another would start reporting the same exact virus…
I came in and HUNDREDS OF EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS from every machine on my network. It toook almost 2 hours to get people working again this morning…it was quite disturbing…

@Jim Fisher
we know you have a problem, and so does others. but you dont have to repeat it in evry post here
File up a FP from the detection alert. Accidents and fp’s unfortunately happen. It is all in the game.
Yesterday it was another av solution, this time it is avast. Real FPs are found soon to be tackled.
Hope these will be sorted out soon also.
Wait for a next update of definitions…
